New Meditation, Breathwork & Guided Relaxation Class
Join me for a transformative class designed to learn meditation as a beginner or deepen your personal meditation practice, learn powerful stress-management techniques, to help you experience profound relaxation. This class will support you in reducing stress, quietening the mind, and nurturing your overall well-being. This class is a very warm and accessible way to access meditation, breathwork and guided relaxation through a wide variety of methods and forms. A class which will keep your interest as each session is different, variable and enjoyable. You will be supported on your journey and guided by experienced teacher
Alix who has taught for over 20 years. My long running back ground has been in Yoga teaching, and Meditation has been interweaved throughout my teaching history. In recent years I began teaching meditation classes.

In this class, you will:
Develop a Personalized Meditation Practice: Whether you’re new to meditation or looking to deepen your current practice, we’ll explore many methods and wide range of meditation tools.
Learn Effective Breathwork Techniques: Discover how specific breathing practices can activate your body’s relaxation response, reduce stress, and lower cortisol levels.
Experience Guided Relaxation: Allow yourself to fully unwind and recharge through guided relaxation practices designed to release tension, restore mental clarity, and promote deep calm.
Train Your Brain to Reduce Stress: Learn techniques to deactivate your stress response and rewire your brain for greater calm and resilience, so you can face daily challenges with more ease and balance and grow plasticity in the brain.

The practice of meditation, breathwork, and relaxation is proven to:

All classes run in half termly blocks, typically 6/7 weeks.
Cost £78 for January term, payable in full.
The Venue at The Centre of the Hills
You can sit in a chair or lie down for the practices, or sit on floor
with bolsters/props or a mix between the two.
