Your Facilitator, Elayna Spratley
Elayna (she/her) is very familiar with the experience of change fatigue and burnout. After a decade-long career in tech, Elayna left her role at Cisco Systems as a Design Strategy Leader to follow her calling of becoming a full-time coach and consultant. Little did Elayna know that she was also becoming a full-time healer as well.
As a meditation guide and certified energy practitioner, Elayna has spent hundreds of hours teaching others the transformative power of meditation and mindfulness practices since 2016. Currently, her healing gifts are a consistent service to Austin’s BIPOC and Queer communities through her nonprofit Free People, Free People, and Queer Black Yoga, a monthly donation-based healing gathering in collaboration with Queer Black Woman’s Alliance.
Elayna has spent the last two years recovering from burnout, guiding corporations through change management, building community, publishing a wellness journal, and asking questions about the connection between our world's and its beings' states. “The human beings ain’t being!” Elayna declares that the chaotic state of our world is primarily correlated to the chaotic state that individuals experience within, combined with a lack of resting and being.“
There’s a better future of life and work available. These destructive behaviors are all learned behaviors. We can unlearn them and rediscover habits, systems, and patterns we can leverage to design an informed, flexible, and sustainable strategy for living well. We all deserve to live well.”
