About the Event
Meditation & Mimosas is for everyone! We will be practicing vipassana meditation together and discussing common meditation mistakes, questions, and challenges. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, bolster, or anything else you need to make your meditation practice comfortable for you. Yoga mats will not be provided. Attendees may use a chair if physically unable to sit on the ground.
PLEASE NOTE: Tickets do not include mimosas. Drinks will be available for purchase at the end of the event while we hang out!
About Alex
Alex Lauture is the owner of The Peaceful Bean LLC, a wellness collective that helps people rediscover peace. Alex has a background in Public Health and Health Education from The University of North Florida and is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coch through the NBHWC.
Her personal mission is to help people find home within themselves, to trust their gut, and feel empowered to live peacefully and with ease.

- Can I come if I have never meditated before? YES. Absolutely.
- Should I eat before I go? It's recommended not to eat within an hour of any meditation or breathwork practice. Feel free to eat a nutritious breakfast before then so you have enough time to properly digest.
- Do I have to drink mimosas? Nope! Mimosa purchases are optional, but they sure are fun! Everyone is open to hang out.
- How old do I have to be to attend? Participants should be 18 years or older. You must be 21 years or older to purchase any alcoholic beverage.
- What is vipassana meditation? Vipassana meditation is a form of meditation that focuses on insight and awareness.
- Can I buy a ticket for my friend? Of course! The more the merrier.
