Emerging - Medicine Pouch WorkshopCome join us at Hawthorn House for this special workshop. Within held sacred space, we will learn about the medicine we need for our emerging journey. We will create our own medicine pouches to carry with us - our personal tool for support and healing.
Celebrate your Heartbeat The Medicine work of Lorna McTavish “Black Fire Horse Woman” Celtic Elder, Drum maker and Pipe Carrier Following periods of apprenticeship in what is now known as Canada, Lorna was adopted by her indigenous Elder Dancing Two Eagle Spirit into the Metis nation and has been passed certain ceremonies including drum birthing and song weaving. Following a 40 year career in Psychotherapy and Mental Health Social Work in the NHS Lorna is now working full time as an Elder combining her therapeutic and group work skills with the medicine and ceremonies passed to her. Lorna has been born the Celtic ways of her ancestors of Argyll. This Cailleach medicine was passed to her by her late Aunt Moira. She committed to this work in an ordination ceremony earlier in 2024 under the Refreshing Ministries Circle of Interfaith Practitioners. This ceremony was conducted overlooking the Corryvreckan Whirlpool the home of the Cailleach. Lorna now travels widely offering Ceremonies and workshops, enjoying working in association with practitioners from the Scottish Highlands to the Channel Islands.
Two Hour workshop within sacred circle including all materials to create your own medicine pouches. £20 pp + booking fee.
