Join Kim Nice of Gentle Arrow Energy Healing on Sunday, September 21, 2025, for a day of ceremony and creation in Greenfields, PA!Each participant will craft an 18 to 20-inch, single sided, oak frame medicine drum of either Deer, Elk, or Buffalo hide. (Size and hide subject to supplier availability) Each hide choice brings with it a unique energy.
Those who have experience birthing drums are invited to create a 24-inch drum. Please reach out to Kimberly for prices and registration for Advanced Drum Creation.
We will begin the workshop with ceremony connecting to Mother Earth and to the heartbeat of your drum. The drum is then tied and coaxed into form…all the while receiving your energy and intentions. Finally, it is laced in a sacred pattern representing the medicine wheel and four cardinal directions. You will leave the workshop with a completed raw drum. The drum takes about a week to naturally dry/cure in a cool, dry location. Once dry, it can be personalized with paint, beads or feathers if desired. Each drum is unique in color and tone. An information packet including drum aftercare and shea butter are included.
Everything you need to create your drum and beater will be provided. You can bring your own stick to create a beater if you wish, but one will be provided.
This is an outdoor event, weather permitting. Dress for comfort, as birthing drums is intense work…but EXTREMELY rewarding!
Pack a snack and beverage. Filtered water will be available to refill your reusable containers.

*Cost is nonrefundable. You may, however, transfer/sell your materials and spot in class to another person! No-show to class causes the forfeiture of all supplies and monies.
*Should the class be canceled by Kimberly Nice a FULL REFUND will be issued to all registered participants.
