About this Event
"In some native languages the term for plants translates to 'those who take care of us'" - Robin Wall Kimmerer.
Herb walks are accessible to beginner herbalists, botanists & just about anyone interested in reconnecting with the land. Our mission is to bridge the gap between those who like to spend time outdoors and want to learn about the local plants that inhabit Tongva Land aka Los Angeles and plant the seed to become a land steward.

We will start with a grounding meditation, then we will learn about medicinal plants that grow in Southern California. We will go over identification, traditional, as well as medicinal uses based on ethnobotanical research.
