Meet Leslie Korn, PhD—long-time Puerto Vallarta resident and author of ten books on natural medicine, healthy living, and life on Mexico’s west coast.Leslie lived in Yelapa for 25 years. She’ll read stories from two of her books, sharing vivid experiences of life and work in Cabo Corrientes beginning in 1973—from opening a small school to founding a pro-bono public health and traditional medicine clinic in El Tuito.
A Fulbright scholar whose research focused on ethnobotany in western Mexico, Leslie briefly left the jungle for Harvard Medical School—and returned as soon as she could. Today, she makes her home in Puerto Vallarta with her two beloved Havanese.
