In an increasingly interconnected world, healthcare professionals have become more intertwined with industry, research, and entrepreneurship to improve healthcare outcomes. Although the world continues to grow more connected, resources continue to be inequitably distributed. This meeting will strive for purpose-driven innovation that furthers medical advancements while increasing access to healthcare resources.
The is the first forum of its kind to bring together leaders in perioperative care with a focus on medical innovation and social impact to address unmet needs connecting urban and rural communities.
The themes of this conference will focus on affordable innovation, resource equity, and education and training. Our purpose is to establish an ongoing forum that stimulates the creation of new clinical, technical, and care solutions.
The conference will begin with an overview on healthcare entrepreneurship and the supportive resources available in Arizona. Attendees will then break out into small group sessions based on where they're at in their entrepreneurship journey to ask experts for advice and then reconvene for panels and discussions until an afternoon networking/cocktail hour.
Panels will focus on topics such as: Increasing healthcare access through affordable innovation, connecting urban and resource constrained communities to improve perioperative care, and advanced technologies to distribute equitable surgical care.
