About this Event
Learn about “Media Relations and the Myth of Crisis Communications” on Thursday, October 16, at the Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art in Daytona Beach. Our presenter is Roland Clee, who will share communications lessons learned from major cases including the Pulse nightclub mass shooting. When crisis hits, being prepared with a foundation of fundamental skills is critical.
Clee served a major Florida police department as a Community Service Officer for more than 26 years. His career included uniformed patrol, training, media relations, intelligence, criminal investigations, and chief’s staff. A member of the Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida board, he writes the American Peace Officer newsletter, speaks at public safety, recruiting and leadership conferences and helps local governments and public safety agencies through his business, CommandStaffConsulting.com.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect and learn from a crisis communications expert.
This month’s professional development opportunity by FPRA Volusia/Flagler is sponsored by Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida.
