Mech-animals: Engineering Nature's Superpowers | Grades 4-5

Get ready for an action-packed day where engineering, computer science, and biology come together! Campers will meet VAI Education's amazing animal ambassadors and explore the fascinating adaptations that make them true masters of survival. Inspired by these creatures, they’ll design their own mechanical animals, complete with specialized features! Finally, these young engineers will bring their creations to life with a Sphero robot, programming their animals to move, make sounds, and respond to the world around them!

Guided Activities

• Handle a variety of our resident animals!
• Discover how animals use adaptations to meet their needs in their environment.
• Learn the basics of block coding.
• Design and engineer their own animal using our Sphero Robots.

Refund Policy:

• Full refunds will be given if requested more than 7 days before the start date of your camp.
