Hey Waiheke, we've confirmed the October destination on our world tour of plant-based cuisine and it's a goodie...For the first time in Meat Free Mondays' history, we'll be visiting two countries in one night - Jaffna, Sri Lanka's lush northern capital, with Indy of Indy's Curry Pot fame - and Kerala on South India's tropical Malabar Coast, with Rohan from Obsidian Vineyard!

Being so close together the two areas share a lot of cuisine, so complement each other beautifully. Indy will finally gift to the island the secrets of his most popular dish, Dosa, those beautiful crispy rice and lentil pancakes, with Masala Potato Curry and Vegetable Sambar. Rohan will make Idli, Dosa's plumper, fluffier cousin, little flying saucer-shaped steamed cakes made from the same ingredients, with a delicious coconut chutney - followed by a special dessert. (Gluten-free folks this one's for you - these dishes are naturally GF.)
There will be limited places to come and help our chefs cook, and learn how to make the dishes. Select the 'workshop' ticket if you'd like to be one of the lucky few and we'll be in touch with details. Otherwise we are planning to take videos to share so you can create them at home.
