About this Event
This event is jointly organised by FALNI and AONTAS.
Non-formal learning attracts many thousands of adult learners every year. For some, it is their first step back into learning since leaving school and can start a journey that then progresses into acquiring qualifications. For others, non-formal learning is sufficient to meet their aspirations and progression can be expanding their knowledge and skills in their chosen subject or moving from one subject area to another. In both instances the learning has many positive benefits.
A challenge for learning providers is how best to capture the impacts of the learning in ways that can satisfy both the funder and the learner.
Through this event FALNI and AONTAS want to support exploration of current practice and options for future development, helped by speaker inputs and peer sharing.
