About this Event
MEANING & MORTALITY: A Creative Conversation Event is hosted by Isabel Amorous, a Death Educator and grief, loss and trauma counselor. Isabel specializes in experiential, expressive, creative arts to unpack often challenging subjects in fun novel ways. By popular request she is offering this vibrant dive into topics that matter. Isabel has hosted Tucson Friendly & Fearless Death Cafe for 7 years. Death Cafes are safe, respectful, no agenda, real talk conversations. They are not counseling, therapy, fixing, experts or education. Learn more about Death Cafes at deathcafe.com, read BLOGS and see what's been happening for 11 years in Tucson at www.facebook.com/TucsonDeathCafe.
At our Death Cafes we’ve talked about practical aspects of death like what to do with possessions, how we want to be buried and remembered, celebrations of life, world death customs, how to talk with our families, anticipatory grief, our fears and challenges, musings on soul, the afterlife, social and cultural deaths and so much more. We also always seem to share tips about how we stay healthy, well, and connected to what matters to us. Invite your friends and family to this unique event! Entrance is on the WEST side of the building. Hearing loop technology is available. To GET ON EMAIL EVENT REMINDER LIST, email Isabel at [email protected]. See you soon!
