Peoria Academy in collaboration with Nitsch Theatre Arts presents a special Stage Teens Broadway intensive production of “Mean Girls High School Version”. This learning by doing intensive Broadway program is by audition only and is open to incoming 6th graders as of June - outgoing seniors.
Auditions will be held Sunday, January 29th at 4:30pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal church in Peoria. You will be dancing (bring tap shoes) and then asked to sing 32 bars of music either from the show or in the style of the show. A speaker will be provided to play your karaoke track with. You will dance first and then sing and be free to go after you sing. Callbacks will be held that Tuesday at 6:30 if needed. Rehearsals will be Sunday evenings at St. Paul's until closer to show time.
If you are cast there is a $155 registration fee for this program. Summer show dates July 13th-16th at the Bertha Frank Performimg Arts Center. Please come with all conflicts through July.
