Two Munros, easily accessed, occupying commanding positions above the Great Glen. Fine ridges, deep corries and great views up and down the faultline of the Great Glen, still rumbling along. Most recent earthquake recorded in 2021.
Start from the CP at Laggan Locks, NN286962. Cross the canal on a lock gate and walk SW to the end of the public road at Kilfinnan. Continue on the track through the forest on the W side of Loch Lochy. After about 1km take the right fork and continue on the forest track for another 2.5Km to NN251936, where the path for the Cam Bhealach goes off to the right. Follow this path steeply up to the high point of the bealach*.
Head S up the slope, contouring around the W flank of Meall Dubh, to reach a wide saddle at about NN222931. Turn SW and climb an ill-defined spur to reach the N ridge of Meall na Teanga and climb to its summit, 917m. Return to the Cam Bhealach and take the steep path N that zig-zags up to a small col overlooking Coire Garbhᵉˣ, then turn NW and follow the ridge to the summit of Sron a’Choire Ghairbh, 935m.
**Descend to the Cam Bhealach again and follow the outward route back to the CP.
*For a shorter day, omit one of the Munros and head directly for the other from the Cam Bhealach

Descend steeply E to a lochan on a spur, then head NE to Meall nan Dearcag, 689mˡʳ. Continue NNE along the spur, curving ENE to locate the least steep line of descent between the crags on the N aspect and those on the E aspect. Once on easier ground, head E down to Kilfinnan and re-join the outward route back to the CP.
