This will be a regular Meadow Music program (hike @ 5:30pm, kids' concert geared to ages 3-8 from 6-7pm) with a little twist. Since this is our 20th year of offering this program in collaboration with the City of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks Dept. there are many former attendees out there who are now middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students or even young adults in their mid 20s!Before the Monday July 8th concert, we're extending a warm invitation to former Jeff & Paige concert attendees who are now “graduates” of the programs, along with their families, to reconnect at a special alumni gathering. It's a chance to enjoy some light refreshments, reminisce, request a favorite song snippet and capture memories with Jeff and Paige through photos. Alumni will also be invited to the front of the stage to help lead the hand motions for the opening song!

Schedule of Events for the July 8th Program:
4:00 - 5:15pm - Alumni and family are invited to drop in anytime to the picnic pavilion adjacent to the Chautauqua General Store. There will be light refreshments, the opportunity to request a favorite song, share a memory and/or take a photo with Jeff & Paige.
5:30 - 6pm - Alumni are invited to join the pre-concert hike, the exact same trail they hiked when they were little. Alternatively, they can stay on Chautauqua Green and picnic/hang out.
6:00 - 7:00pm - The Concert! This show will consist of at least a handful of greatest hits from the first decade of Meadow Music. Alumni will be invited to come to the front of the stage for the opening song and help lead the hand motions and/or dance moves!

What to expect this year?
Meadow Music 2024 is up at Chautauqua Green in West Boulder! We have 1 weekend morning shows and 5 Monday evening shows planned for you. Season ends early so that Jeff & Paige can visit family, be parents and maybe even relax.

*This event is free to the public thanks to the City of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks Division! OSMP has been staffing, sponsoring, schlepping gear, dressing up in costumes and helping kids safely cross the road for 20 years. We love you OSMP!

*Bring picnic blankets and/or low chairs, picnics and plenty of water.
*Concert will last 1 hr. and includes original science and nature-based kids' music, educational skits, quick costume changes and loads of audience interaction/participation.
*Join us for our short, toddler friendly, pre-concert hike. We'll find our animal and color of the week on this .2 mile nature loop at the base of the Foothills. Meet at the stage at the advertised time. Concert itself starts when the hike returns (30 min. after the times above)
*Feel free to stick around after the show and picnic/play!
