🏰✨ Discover Rabat and Mdina with us! Explore historic streets, admire ancient buildings, and take in stunning views as you walk through the enchanting “Silent City” walls! 🕊️📸
Our adventure begins with a private bus ride 🚌 to the charming town of Rabat, where we’ll embark on a lovely walk, surrounded by beautiful architecture. Along the way, we’ll pause to admire the stunning St. Paul’s Church ⛪️. Next, we’ll stop at Il-Serkin, renowned for having the best pastizzi in Malta, for a quick optional snack 😋. Afterward, we’ll relax in the peaceful park, enjoying the shade of the trees and views over the impressive Mdina ditch 🌳. Then, we’ll pass through the iconic Mdina Gate, ✨ and as if stepping into a time machine, we’ll travel back in time to explore the ancient walls of the “Silent City,” walking through its peaceful, enchanted streets. You’ll discover amazing views, historical buildings, and, of course, great photo spots! 📸

👥 WHO PARTICIPATES? Our exploring series attracts a diverse group, including expats, English students, Erasmus participants, interns, volunteers, digital nomads, Maltese locals, tourists, and Couchsurfers. All nationalities and age groups are welcome – everyone can join in on the fun!
WHEN & WHERE?
🕰️ WHEN: Every Tuesday. Meeting time is at 14.45. Departure at 15:00. Expected return time is at around 19:00.
📍 WHERE: We meet at the doors of Burger King in Sliema. The return is at the same place of the departure.
PARTICIPATION
👟 BRING & WEAR: As we’ll be in a city area, no special equipment is needed. We just suggest to wear comfortable walking shoes.
💳 OFFER & PRICE: private transportation, logistics, planned tour and a leader are provided at the launching price of 10€ per person for online early bird tickets.
🔍 CLARIFICATION: This is an accompanied walk, giving you the opportunity to explore the best spots in Mdina and Rabat with great international company! However, it is not a guided historical or knowledge-based tour led by an expert who explains the historical details of the locations!
🎟️ RESERVATION: limited spots, you need to buy an online ticket for participating!
❓ FAQ: can I come on the spot and pay cash? You may, but we do not recommend it. Price is €15 and you take the risk of not finding a spot.
