About this Event
In celebration of RVA Bike Month (rvabikemonth.com) and International M**der, She Wrote Day, we bring you the "M**der, She Rode" group ride on May 19, 2024!
The Gist
We will meet up at a starting location in Richmond, where the details of a recent (made up) M**der will be announced (gasp!). The group will ride together to various locations in the city by solving clues leading them to the next location. At our last stop, the murderer will be revealed, and (if all things align) riders will have close access to purchase some Maine-inspired food and beverages if they choose.
The Garb
M**der, She Wrote's Jessica Fletcher was not only a quick-witted sleuth and author, but also knew her way around a bike! Everyone is encouraged to dress up as Jessica or any other character from Cabot Cove. Best impersonation wins our eternal admiration!
The Gallavanting
Bike route details are presently being fleshed out. You can expect some chill amount of miles for a group along generally bike-friendly streets. This is not a race! This is a jovial Jessica Fletcher-paced ride. Will try to position our starting location near an RVA Bike Share stop (www.rvabikes.com) in case you'd like to check one out for the ride.
