A New Wiseman Mystery

Come and enjoy an evening of fun, mystery and a delicious three-course meal. Try and solve the case by looking out for clues as the cast perform a number of acts before, between and after each course. During the evening there’s also an opportunity for some questions to be asked of the suspects.
Its not all serious. Expect some humour. But most of all, expect to have a fun evening.
Synopsis:
1st October 1938.
It is one day after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain returns from the Munich Conference
to declare that he has secured “Peace in our Time.”
Elsewhere in the country, in the quintessential village of Fearmore, Adroit Wiseman of
Diceymews Police is preparing to attend the wedding of his god-daughter, Rosie
Woodbridge. His wife, Azalea, is also looking forward to the occasion once she has
finished correcting her husband’s tie and overall appearance.
Rosie is set to marry into Diceymews’ most powerful retail dynasty: the Fleeceits. Her future husband is heir to his father’s empire. Though not one for overt displays of emotion shaped by both his detective work and his time in the Army, Adroit cannot help but feel
proud of the young woman he helped raise after the death of his closest friend.
But as the celebration gathers pace and wine flows freely, it soon becomes clear that the
backdrop of a looming war is not the only thing to fear.
When the day takes a dark turn, Adroit is forced back into his professional role ,
determined to uncover the truth behind events that were never meant to happen.
Will every solemn vow be kept or broken?

Starter: Potato and leek soup with bread roll
Main: Steak and Ale or cheese and onion pie, mash potato and peas.
