As winter settles over the region, thousands of crows return night after night to roost across the river—gathering in a spectacular, swirling “M**der” that transforms the sky into a living, moving tapestry.
Join us with our wonderful partners, Northern Virginia Bird Alliance (NVBA), for a twilight experience to watch this dramatic natural phenomenal.
At sunset, these highly social and intelligent birds come together in massive numbers, filling the sky with movement, sound, and mystery. Whether you’re a seasoned birder, a nature lover, or simply curious about the secret lives of crows, this event offers a rare chance to witness a roost up close.
