About this Event
This FREE workshop invites you to a playful and friendly approach to
- Sensing our body's needs and intelligence
- Developing sensorial richness
- Developing tools to nudge ourselves back into balance when needed.
All bodies, abilities, different abilities, genders, and identities are welcome! No athletic experience is necessary. This is a discovery workshop with exploratory participation. Please wear loose and flexible clothing for freedom and comfort. Bare feet are welcomed! A journal is recommended. Please bring your sense of humor, and your spirit of adventure!
Donna Mejia (Crown Institute Faculty Fellow) has been a practitioner and educator in the arts, somatic science, meditation, and critical theories about Earth's human cultures for over 35 years. She is an interdisciplinarian who values curiosity and imagination and welcomes you to be in community with others who crave opportunities to explore healing of the mind/body/heart connection.
