
About this Event
This course is intended for physical and occupational therapists and other health care professionals to review lower extremity prosthetics and gait deviations in the context of providing assessment and interventions in all aspects of prosthetic use and gait training.
Topics covered in this course: biomechanics, treatment options, and identification of gait deviations during training relevant to new prosthetic components and materials.
This course provides 0.2 CEU Credits / 2.0 Contact Hours

- Explanation and analysis of prosthetic gait deviations in patients with transtibial amputation
- Case study examples
- Explanation and analysis of common prosthetic gait deviations in patients with transfemoral amputation

- Rehab Protocol for patients with transtibial and transfemoral amputation
- Advanced PT therapeutic exercises, balance training, and rehabilitation
