Are you looking to learn more about what our community offers? The McKenzie County Community Orientation will showcase opportunities for getting plugged into our community. Doors open at 1pm and the event starts at 1:30. Hear presentations from a variety of community members including topics such as History of McKenzie County; modern day amenities; Parks and Recreation opportunities; Clubs and organizations; Hunting/fishing opportunities; Housing options; Emergency services; Winter preparedness – understanding what to expect and enjoying features of all 4 seasons; Community services (public health, Bakken Thrift store, public transit, etc); Annual events in McKenzie County; Daytrip opportunities; Outdoor opportunities; Education/childcare; Gyms;. The final two hours include a bus tour where we will drive by and/or stop at places such as the Rough Rider Center; McKenzie County Ag Expo; Long X Visitors Center/Art Gallery; McKenzie Health; McKenzie County Sportmans Club; Wolfpup daycares, schools, and more!
Everyone who participates will receive a $20 gift card to the Merc at the Long X Visitors Center at the completion of the event.
Spouses/kids can sign up to participate too.
