Get ready! McGoldROCKS is back! On Thursday, October 9th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, the Salons at the McGoldrick Center on the USM Portland Campus will come alive with a brilliant night of music, community, and pure energy.This year’s lineup features four powerhouse acts:

Covered in Bees
A Portland punk favorite, Covered in Bees brings chaotic energy, sharp lyrics, and infectious rhythms to the stage. If you’ve seen them before, you know to expect a wild ride — and if you haven’t, now’s your chance.
Little Oso
With dreamy indie-rock vibes and heartfelt storytelling, Little Oso balances the lineup with shimmering melodies and lush harmonies. Their music hits deep – the calm before the storm.
Neal Ray
USM student Neal blends heartfelt songwriting with infectious energy that lights up every stage he steps on.
McGoldROCKS isn’t just about the music — it’s a celebration of the vibrant creative community at USM across Portland. Hosted by WMPG and USM Student Affairs, this event brings together students, local artists, and music lovers from across Southern Maine.
“This is what WMPG is all about,” says Annella Linton, WMPG’s Development Director. “Supporting local music, building community, and creating spaces where everyone feels connected through sound.”
Andrew Pollom, VP of Student Affairs, adds: “McGoldROCKS shows off the talent we have right here in our community. It’s a chance for students and music lovers alike to come together, celebrate, and rock out.”
