Admire the enduring architecture that tells the story of Galt’s industrial past before heading back to our cozy Cottage on the banks of the Grand for a tasty bowl of home-made traditional Scottish soup.

This walking tour may include hills, stairs, and uneven terrain. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather. The tour will proceed rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather that necessitates rescheduling, an email will be sent to all participants at least one hour before the start time.
Smart phones are recommended, but not required, to access additional information on the sites we’ll be visiting.
Please email us in advance if you would like a vegetarian option for the soup.
Note: No washroom facilities available during tour.
The walks will leave the Cottage promptly at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so register early!
$35/participant (+HST ). Ticket includes walk and soup. This event is non-refundable.

Note: Tickets are also available for in-person purchase at the Cottage during McDougall's hours of operation (open Fri-Sun noon to 4 p.m., beginning on February 21, 2025)
