MCC Garage Tour 2024 The Mississippi Classic Cruisers have been promoting the popular Garage Tour for many years. This year’s tour will take place on the first Saturday in June, June 1st, 2024.
We will gather at the Primos Restaurant at 2323 Lakeland Drive in Flowood, MS. The plan is to leave Primos promptly at 8:00 a.m. and travel to the home of Bob & Lori Jackman who reside at:
First Stop
Bob & Lori Jackman
2206 Scenic Drive
Brandon, MS
Bob & Lori are long time classic car enthusiasts and supporters of the MS Classic Cruisers. Bob is one of the most knowledgeable “car guys” in the state, if not the nation. He has served as a Senior Judge in many prestigious car shows all over the nation. Bob is in the Die Cast Car Collectors Hall of Fame. He has over 6000 die cast cars on display in his home. He knows some details about every single one. He also has some “real cars” including a super fine 1955 Chrysler Imperial, a 1961 Chevrolet Corvette and a one of one 1963 Ford Thunderbird Sports Roadster. Lori is an expert constructor of model doll houses and is a member for 35 years of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts. We will be able to view her wonderful collection. We will leave Bob and Lori’s home by 9:30 a.m. and travel onto our second destination at the home of:
Second Stop
Jimmy & Lisa Jones
3698 Hwy 471
Brandon, MS
Jimmy and Lisa are long time “hot rod” folks and members of MCC. They live on a number of acres just off Hwy 25 at the Goshen Springs Hwy 471 exit. They currently have some wonderful cars including a custom 1967 Chevrolet Nova, a 2010 Camaro, a 2012 ZL1 Camaro, a 1998 Chevrolet Western Hauler and a Jeep. You can never tell what new vehicle might show up!
The real attraction at the Jones’s, however, is their sign collection. Although they would deny this, it is certainly one of the best sign collections in this State if not the southeast. Jimmy has been on a quest for many decades to buy and restore old signs. Many are recognizable from the past and include signs from the Cherokee, Dutch Bar, Bebop Record Shop, Seale Lily Ice Cream, Billups, The Lamar Restaurant, The Lamar Theater, Jitney Jungle, Brent’s Drugs, Redwood Court and many, many more. Each sign has a story of the “chase” to secure them, many taking decades of dogged persistence to secure and then the heavy expense of bringing them back to “as new”. This collection is not to be missed. We will leave Jimmy and Lisa’s by 10:30 a.m. and travel across the top of the Reservoir to our final destination:
Third Stop
Classic Restorations LLC
138 W. Sowell Road
Gluckstadt, MS
Mike Martin & Mike McElory own this facility dedicated to the work and restoration of classic vehicles. What began as a hobby has grown into a thriving business. The shop, occupied in January 2023 is 12,500 square feet and has all the facilities needed to do the work on these classic cars. Three lifts & two paint booths help get the job done. The shop has now a dozen experienced mechanics, body men and painters. The old adage of trying “to do what we say we will do” serves this business well.
A catered meal will be available at the shop. The tour will end sometime soon after Noon.

Make your plans to attend the 2024 Garage Tour. Please call or email Mike Martin to confirm your participation and the number of folks coming. Mike’s contact is:
