Members In Water practice Wednesday and Friday, Dry Land practice Monday and Thursday for the month of July.
Sharks Club is a swim club for youth swimmers who want to improve upon their skills, confidence or pursue competitive swimming in the future.
Sessions focus on technique, endurance, and skills such as dives and turns as preparation for formal swim team.
Participants will learn basic terminology, proper etiquette, and how to read and create workout sets.
*This is NOT a Learn to Swim class
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Youth aged 7+,
2. Proficiently swim Backstroke and Front Crawl (with side breathing) for a minimum of 25 yards without stopping.
Please call the Main Base Pool to schedule a swim evaluation if you are unsure your child meets the minimum requirements.
*If the coaches feel that the participant does or cannot meet the minimum requirements, for safety reasons, refunds or private lessons (if available) may be offered. *
** Exceptions: children under 7 may be considered for Sharks Club pending an evaluation by the coach to determine if they are able to meet minimum requirements. **
What’s Included: With a membership, your child can attend 2 In Water and 2 Dry Land practices every week during the month of February excluding any Federal holidays.
When: (In Water) Wednesday & Friday, (Dry Land) Monday & Thursday
Time: (In Water) 3:00pm - 4:00pm -or- 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Time: (Dry Land) 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Run date: 7/8/24 - 7/31/24.
No Practice 7/1/24 to 7/5/24
1. Monday and Thursday Dry Land Training: aquatics specific & endurance/ strength building exercises from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Location: Main Base Pool unless specified otherwise.
2. Wednesdays and Fridays In Water at the Main Base Pool unless specified otherwise.
*In events that The Base Pool is unavailable, practice may be moved to the Hill Top Pool. *
*Participants may not switch between practice times.
(Missed practices will not be prorated or refunded)
