Advents is an evening of original plays written, directed, and performed by members of the Maryville College community. These five short works tell stories of “great arrival” that are sincere, terrifying, and humorous. Advents is the culmination of a months long creative process where the writers collectively refined their works. The audience has the chance to influence the next step of these plays by providing real time feedback to the group of authors. The writers are: Maddie Yalove, Amy Reed, Felix Juarez, McKenna Marr, and Kat Wilson. The event will be held at 8 p.m. in the Clayton Center for the Arts’ Haslam Family Flexible Theatre on Friday, November 21. The event is free and open to the public.
