The MBCA proudly offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies for the students across Atlantic County. Our mission: to empower students through career resources and scholarships. Participation in the MBCA program provides students with access to a cadre of scholarship opportunities from medicine, business, STEM, social impact initiatives, to the arts and more.Please join us noon to 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Resorts Casino Hotel’s Ocean Ballroom for the MBCA Scholarship Foundation Awards Luncheon with Keynote Speaker Kevin Dehmer, Acting Commissioner, New Jersey Department of Education, and Honoree Dr. Philip J. Guenther, Superintendent of Atlantic County Special Services and Atlantic County Vocational School Districts.
In addition to scholarships, the MBCA Foundation's new mission is the beautify Atlantic City to make it a better place to live, work and visit. We are constantly working on projects to achieve our new mission while also offering academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies for the students across Atlantic County to empower students through career resources and scholarships. Participation in the MBCA program provides students with access to a cadre of scholarship opportunities from medicine, business, STEM, social impact initiatives, to the arts and more, along with our beautification projects.
Scholarships
The MBCA Foundation will award thousands of dollars in scholarships to help area students.
Scholarships include:
- Epicurean Culinary Teacher Award ($1500)
- AtlantiCare Scholarship ($1500)
- (4) Epicurean Society of Southern New Jersey Ed Hitzel Memorial Scholarships ($1500 each)
- STAGE TRIP Memorial Scholarship ($1500)
- Glenn Insurance Memorial Scholarship in Honor of Thomas L. Glenn ($1500)
- Accent Aesthetics Advancement of Women in Science ($1500)
- The Mariana & Anthony Galinu Memorial Scholarship ($1500)
- (2) The Martin Wilson Arts Music Foundation ($2,500 each)
- The Jingoli Scholarship ($1,500, new this year!)
