Our panel will feature Muslim women leaders in the tech industry as they share their journeys of breaking barriers and advancing their careers while staying true to themselves.
Panelists include:
Nuzi Barkatally: Vice President, Life Science and Healthcare Startup Banking at Silicon Valley Bank, supporting seed-stage life science and healthcare founders, and has a background in healthcare startups, as well as a Master of Research in Healthcare and Design with a focus on AI ethics.
Farah Bhatti: Shareholder and the Chair of Butchalter Law Firm’s Trademark Law Practice and Co-Chair of the Internet, E-Commerce and Social Media Practice, specializing in trademark protection, strategy, and litigation, with a focus on international trademark selection and enforcement.
Hania Masud: Head of Legal at Jam City, with prior roles at Hulu and Willkie, Farr & Gallagher, where she practiced M&A and securities law, and is an active advocate for diversity and inclusion.
These accomplished women will discuss how they’ve navigated the challenges of tech, built supportive communities, and climbed the professional ladder with authenticity and purpose.
The event will conclude with a very special and dynamic leadership workshop led by Arshiya Kherani, Founder of , a leadership and business coach empowering BIPOC business owners and decision-makers to make values-driven professional decisions, Ms. Kherani is a serial entrepreneur, marketer, and storyteller who focuses on blending profit and purpose. Ms. Kherani is the former Founder of Sukoon Active, a sustainable activewear brand for Muslim women, and with her latest project, The Potluck Presents, focuses on fostering human connection through storytelling.
