Join medal-winning JASON AND THE DRAGONAUTS, the first and only all Scout dragon boat racing team in the world to complete requirements for the eagle-rank required Personal Management merit badge.
OPEN TO ALL SCOUTING AMERICA YOUTH FROM ANY TROOP/DISTRICT/COUNCIL.

1) Read the Personal Management Merit Badge Booklet by September 28, 2024.
2) Research information for the Personal Management Merit Badge Requirements #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 and #9 by September 28 so you can have a discussion on September 29.
Although NOT required, you will find the UNOFFICIAL WORKSHEET useful:

3) Wear your Scout Uniform with closed toed and closed heeled shoes on Sunday SEPTEMBER 29 to Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro AND on Sunday JANUARY 26 to Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro.
4) Bring your research notes for Requirements #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 and #9 on SEPTEMBER 29 to discuss with Merit Badge Counselor.
5) On SEPTEMBER 29 the Merit Badge Counselor will also discuss what is expected for you to complete the remaining requirements during the 13 weeks between SEPTEMBER 29 and JANUARY 26.
6) Bring attire that can get wet and sandy for the DRAGON BOAT PADDLES on SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29 and on SUNDAY JANUARY 26 for your meetings with the Merit Badge Counselor.

08:30 AM - Come in ACTIVITY ATTIRE with closed toed and closed heeled shoes THAT CAN GET WET AND SANDY to Check In with DRAGONAUTS CREW 333 at THE BOATHOUSE OF CABRILLO YOUTH WATERSPORTS CENTER (3000 Shoshonean Road, San Pedro) TO GET FITTED FOR A PERSONAL FLOATATION DEVICE (Life Vest) AND A DRAGON BOAT PADDLE - AND TO GIVE YOUR COMPLETED DRAGONAUTS CREW 333 ACTIVITY WAIVER TO DRAGONAUTS CREW 333:
10:30 AM - CHANGE INTO SCOUT UNIFORM to SHOW-AND-TELL what you have done with Req #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #9 WITH Dragonauts Crew 333 and the Personal Management Merit Badge Counselor.
YOU MAY WANT TO BRING a CAMP CHAIR AND YOUR 10 ESSENTIALS Including scoutmaster signed blue card and pen!

2) SUNDAY JANUARY 26 Schedule:
08:30 AM - Check In with Dragonauts Crew 333 for Dragon Boat Paddling at Cabrillo Beach and Marina in San Pedro.
Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and sandy.
10:30 AM - Change into Scout Uniform for meeting with Merit Badge Counselor to complete remaining requirements.
Remember to bring your 13-week log of income and expenses, research notes for the remaining requirements, your blue card, a pen, and a camp chair.

ABOUT DRAGONAUTS CREW 333 for 13-20 year olds:
Dragonauts Crew 333 is the only Scouting America dragon boat racing venturing crew in the world. Founded by EAGLE SCOUTS from 5 different BSA Councils: Western Los Angeles County Council, Greater Los Angeles Area Council, California Inland Empire Council, Long Beach Area Council, and Las Vegas Area Council in 2021.
Dragonauts Crew 333 usually meets on the FIRST SUNDAYS all over Southern California after dragon boat practice in San Pedro.

Dragonauts Troop 333 is the only Scouting America dragon boat racing Scout Troop in the world, founded by current members of Dragonauts Crew 333.
Dragonauts Troop 333 usually meets on SUNDAYS from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Cabrillo Youth Watersports Center in San Pedro.
