Join medal-winning Jason-and-the-Dragonauts, the first and only all Scout dragon boat racing team in the world at their dragon boat practice sessions to complete requirements for the eagle-rank required Personal Fitness merit badge.

1) Attend Practice Sessions at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro on the following Sundays from 8:30 AM - 10:15 AM:
September 2024: 09/29 - San Pedro.
October 2024: 10/27 - San Pedro.
December 2024: 12/01 - San Pedro.
January 2025: 01/19 - San Pedro.

1) Merit Badge Sessions on 09/22, 10/27, 12/01 and 01/19 in San Pedro.

NOTES - PLEASE READ:
1) SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 22 Schedule:
08:00 AM - Come in attire that can get wet and sandy to Check In for Dragon Boat Paddling and give your completed Dragonauts Crew 333 Activity Waiver and your completed LA Harbor Dragon Boat Club waiver to Merit Badge Counselor:
10:30 AM - Change to running attire for personal fitness baseline check:
- Be prepared to run 1-mile, complete 1-minute of push-ups, 1-minute of sit-ups, 1-minute of jumping jacks, and sit-and-reach stretches.
- Show Merit Badge Counselor your exercise plan for approval.
- Show Merit Badge Counselor your 3-day log of meals. Use either (a) September 19-21 or (b) September 17-19.
- Show Merit Badge Counselor your current BSA Health Form ABC and your current dentist note.
- Bring scoutmaster-signed blue card.
- Bring water bottle for hydration.

2) SUNDAY OCTOBER 27 and SUNDAY DECEMBER 01 Schedule:
08:30 AM - Check In for Dragon Boat Practice in attire that can get wet and sandy.
10:30 AM - Change to running attire for personal fitness monthly check-in.
Be prepared to run 1-mile, complete 1-minute of push-ups, 1-minute of sit-ups, 1-minute of jumping jacks, and sit-and-reach stretches.
Bring water bottle for hydration.

3) SUNDAY JANUARY 19 Schedule:
08:30 AM - Check In for Dragon Boat Paddling.
10:30 AM - Change to running attire for personal fitness final check:
- Be prepared to show improvements for your 1-mile run, 1-minute of push ups, 1-minute of sit-ups, 1-minute of jumping jacks, and sit-and-reach stretches.
- Bring your blue card.
- Bring your 90-day exercise log to show Merit Badge Counselor and to discuss the remaining requirements.
- Bring camp chair and water bottle for hydration.

4) THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. EVENT TAKES PLACE AS SCHEDULED AND AS DESCRIBED. If you find yourself unable to attend for whatever reason, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find your own replacement.

Dragonauts Crew 333 is the only Scouting America dragon boat racing venturing crew in the world. Founded by EAGLE SCOUTS from 5 different BSA Councils: Western Los Angeles County Council, Greater Los Angeles Area Council, California Inland Empire Council, Long Beach Area Council, and Las Vegas Area Council in 2021.
Dragonauts Crew 333 usually meets on the FIRST and THIRD SUNDAYS all over Southern California in Lunch-and-Learns between 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
