Mazie Turner: Paintings is a commercial exhibition of abstract works exploring the eyes' mind. Mazie Turner’s mature paintings embody emotion through colour and light.This show celebrates the on-going impact of Mazie's art, a decade after her death in 2014, featuring many works from her 2024 exhibition 'Things the Mind Already Knows' at MAC yapang Museum of Art and Culture, Lake Macquarie.
Mazie Karen Turner was included in 'Know My Name' at the National Gallery of Australia in 2022, and her artworks are held in the permanent collections of Artbank, the National Gallery, Newcastle Art Gallery, the University of Newcastle, the Art Gallery of South Australia, among others.
