Presented with the Workers Arts & Heritage Centre, join Sean Lee, jes sachse and Parkdale Community Legal Services for a evening salon.
About this Event

Join artist Sean Lee for an evening salon that delves into the complexities of the ableist ecosystem of Ontario’s housing, where invisible labour is always part of the landscape.

As Sean invites everyone into an orange peeling session, artist, jes sachse, will discuss their two and a half year eviction battle. Samuel Mason, from Parkdale Community Legal Services, will offer insights into legal protections and unlawful/unethical housing practices.

But oranges are for everyone! We are interested in sharing insights, as together we can better protect ourselves in the face of ableist housing practices across the province and beyond.

This salon is a part of group exhibition, curated by Emma Steen. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the exhibition, the artist, and curator.
