About this Event
This exciting opportunity gives participants the chance to develop technical skills, confidence and creativity through film.
"I enjoyed learning new things, making new friends, doing filming, editing and acting"
Meeting on one evening a week during term time, the group is led by our experienced team who are eager to share their knowledge and skills. Participants will be guided to explore all aspects of the filmmaking process.
Previous participants have conceived and developed their own scripts, shot & edited a short drama and more recently researched, planned & produced a music video. They have also enjoyed sessions focused on the various processes of filmmaking including camerawork, video and audio editing, lighting and graphic design.
For this term, young filmmakers will write, plan, film & edit their own short film.
The group is open to new members and beginners are welcome! Suitable for academic years 8-13, ages 12 - 17.
Sessions will run weekly on a Wednesday evening from 24th April to 3rd July, 6.00pm - 7.30pm. Please note there won't be a session on Wednesday 29th May due to half term.
Term fees: £70 for the whole term paid at time of booking or in two instalments.
Discounts: A bursary rate of £35 each term is available for successful applicants.
If you would like to discuss fees, or apply for a bursary, please get in touch.
