Mayday Mayday Festival is a three-day uncurated festival where art students from Antwerp, Brussels, Leuven, Maastricht and Ghent go completely wild in CAMPO victoria. Every studio, every corner of the garden, even the toilets – everything is taken up by their fresh work and unfinished experiments. With performances, animated films, performances, installations, drawings, dance, photos, texts, audio clips and graphic work, and especially everything that does not fall under these. For anyone interested in seeing tomorrow's creators at work already. For this year’s Mayday Mayday Festival, the organizing students chose to focus on EXCHANGE and COLLABORATION. Sharing, exchanging practices, and fostering collaboration, both among artists and with the audience, is what we aim for. The festival also aims to be a living experience, leaving behind something tangible from the days we share—whether through an evolving collective artwork or a dynamic exhibition that grows as the festival unfolds.
