Based in Tandayna/Adelaide, Maybe Hugo emerged with the release of his debut single 'Like B4' - garnering over 150,000 streams on Spotify alone within its first 6 months. This was quickly followed by his second single 'Fool' & now his independently produced debut EP ‘Maybe, Might Be, Could Be” - all produced from his home-studio.
His sound and inspiration stems from a modern take on alternative/soul/disco, which evokes feelings of whole-heartedness and often touches on themes of discovery through young adulthood. Originally a saxophonist, the now multi-instrumentalist showcases his wide scope of flexibility, which can be seen in his music in both new and vintage sounds alike.
With a plethora of experience in DJ’ing across Adelaide’s nightlife, he's supported the likes of Bag Raiders, Young Franco, and Keli Holiday, and has played side stages at Laneway, Wildlands Festivals & soon Adeloud. However, Hugo now gets to showcase himself on a more intimate live setting, with a full 6-piece band.
