Join Coin-Operated Press at the DJCAD Zine Library for our monthly zine club! Browse the zine library collection, and make your own zines with the selection of zine-making supplies we will have on hand!!
Chloe from Coin-Operated Press will be on-hand to tell you all about the zine library, the collection, how you can get involved in the library, as well as how you can access the collection when we're not there, and everything else you have ever wanted to know about zines!!
Please bring along any of your own zines that you would like to donate to the library collection! We would love to see the collection grow and grow!!
We will also have a selection of zine-making supplies, and can demonstrate how to fold a mini-zine so you can have a go at making your own zine!! Feel free to bring your own projects to work on, and if you have a work-in-progress you want to show off or get some advice on, we would love to see it!!
Drop-in anytime from 15:00 - 18:00 on the last Wednesday of the month for our zine clubs!!
These clubs are free to attend and are open to students and the general public!
Please RSVP via Eventbrite so we can update you with any information you may need to know before attending the open day :)
We also welcome you to donate any of your unwanted art and craft supplies to us for use in our workshops and in our new community zine-making space, as well as any old magazines or paper collage materials you want to save from the recycling bin!
Location: The Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design Library, University of Dundee, Perth Road, Dundee, DD1 4HT - the library is on level 4 of the Matthew building which you can access via elevators or the stairs from the main reception. Once inside the library, head to the Finlay Collections Room - the second door on the left as you walk through the library - and you'll see our lil penguin logo on the window! If you get lost, ask the receptionists to show you to the artist's books room!

The DJCAD Zine Library is managed by Coin-Operated Press CIC - we are a queer-led social enterprise based in Scotland. We host workshops, run zine fairs, create and distribute our own collaborative zines.
