Illahe Vineyards is one of Oregon’s truly craft wineries utilizing a number of old-world techniques – hand-picked grapes, bicycles as pumps to transfer wine, hand-bottled & labeled, and they are also one of only a few horse-powered vineyards. That’s right, I said HORSE-POWERED. They employ a team of Percheron draft horses to mow and deliver grapes to the winery at harvest.
We have three wines which are available by the glass or by the bottle and as always, these fantastic wines will be paired with cheese and charcuterie from around the world.
– Cap Fizz Sparkling Rose (187ml)
– Gruner Veltliner (full-size bottle)
– Willamette Pinot Noir (full-size bottle)
Guests at home will be able to participate in the tasting event through an interactive Zoom webinar along with all other guests beginning at 6:30PM (CT). Wine pick up will be available for all guests on the day of the event, May 20th.
