The next sesh will commence on Sunday, May 12th, 2024 from 1PM-4PM!
What it is:
Vancouver Social Design Sesh brings together creative minds from the digital industry in a fun and welcoming environment. Our main aim is to inspire creativity, but we also value the chance to socialize, network, and learn from one another. All attendees MUST bring their own materials/tech to create with- think of this event like an art jam! This is not for those just looking to network; this is a chance for designers to get feedback on designs or create new portfolio pieces!
Who it is For:
This get-together is all about folks who vibe with the creative tech scene – think graphic designers, photographers, photo editors, animators, web designers, UI/UX wizards, and the like. If you're not sure if this is your jam, feel free to reach out and ask questions.
What Happens at These Gatherings:
- Every second Sunday of the month, we dedicate 3 hours to creating digitally together based on a chosen theme. The April design theme is the Ocean!!
- This is a casual event; come to work based on the prompt or on other projects. Just remember that this is a SOCIAL! Share your ideas, wins and struggles and show support for your fellow creatives. Capacity is limited to 25!
What to Bring:
Laptops, tablets, sketchbooks or whatever you need to create! Although our venue has an abundance of outlets, it’s best to bring things at full charge. Also, bring an idea or two for the jam!
Venue Etiquette:
Please do not bring outside food or drinks! The venue has an amazing kitchen, a fully stocked bar and a classic Italian espresso machine. Please tip your server; Sprezzatura has a great team!
Cost Breakdown:
We would love for this gathering to be free someday- however, we do need to cover the cost of organizing and platform fees! Contact us if you'd like to attend but need financial assistance.
