Frontier 4x4 Club is joining our sister club, CFWDA, for their trail ride into Vipond Park on the 11th.CFWDA (Continental Four Wheel Drive Association) is meeting at Three Bears at 8:45 and leaving at 9:00 am heading to the Melrose.
NOTE: Helena should PULL OUT from Murdochs, heading for Butte, by 7:30am. Keep in mind that it is about a one-hour (1.5-hour trip with construction??) trip to Three Bears in Butte.

Be prepared for Montana weather!! Rumor has it that happens here sometimes.
Conditions permitting, the plan is to go to Melrose, then Cayon Creek kilns and then over the top into Vipond Park and down to Dewey.
If there is no deep snow (drifts), MO4x4A rates this a Class 2 trail in summer. (Class 1 to the kilns and Class 2 beyond to Dewey.)
Class 2: Scenic, touring trail ride; four-wheel drive required occasionally, some mud holes or rocks that would stop most other vehicles (cars) but are traveled easily in 4WD. Snow changes everything, but we have been informed there is little snow and nothing difficult.
