JOSEPHINE BAKER MOVES - SOLO JAZZ & CHARLESTON WORKSHOP

Josephine Baker, the great and iconic 1920s dancer and superstar, was an international sensation. In this workshop, you will learn her story, some of her iconic dance moves, her dance style and unique characteristics, and a fun routine to practice what you’ve learned.
- Prerequisite: For multiple levels of dancer, who have at a bare minimum taken Saturday's Move Your Spirit workshop or equivalent.
- Note: This workshop is not just for women, it is also for men and all genders. There isn't really anything female-only to Josephine's moves. Like great male dancers, such as Frankie Manning & Leon James, she is and can be an inspiration and model for everyone.
