About this Event
Greeting magic makers,
After last month’s chaotic combo of eclipse season and Mercury retrograde join us for a May Queer New Moon ritual. We will gather under the nurturing energy of the New Moon in Taurus where we'll embrace abundance and honor self-care.
We begin our rituals with introductions and a check-in question followed by a land and black life acknowledgement. Participants are then invited to volunteer to lead a clearing or grounding exercise. There will be time to share astrology wisdom of this new moon.
During this Taurus ritual you’ll have the opportunity to select a simple Tarot or Oracle spread that resonates with you. Reflect on each card's message, trusting in the wisdom it imparts. We will have an opportunity to connect with our senses and create an intention infused coconut oil. We will add a few drops of different essential oils, choosing scents that resonate with our intentions this new moon.
We need your help to create a RSVP culture at The Diversity Center for our well-being offerings. Please RSVP via Eventbrite so that we can gather the necessary ritual supplies. Please arrive on time at 6:00. Participants will be asked to complete our Community Connection Survey while we all get settled in.
Tea and ritual supplies are provided by The Diversity Center. All LGBTQ+ community members and allies are welcome and space is limited to 25 participants. Participants are welcome to bring their journals any magical items that will help them feel comfortable during the ritual.
Meggie (she/ her) will be facilitating this ritual.
If you have questions about this well-being offering or if you are interested in leading or co-facilitating a future new or full moon ritual please contact Meggie Pina, Senior Manager of Well-being Programs email: [email protected]
