Have you been wondering what Share Your Gold is all about?Our free casual meetups happen monthly and are a great way to come along and check out what we do. Share Your Gold was started as a support meetup for parents in business and is now open to anyone that wants to come along. We share our ideas and challenges then we use brainstorming to problem solve.
We seek to harness the power of coming together with the shared intention of collaborating, helping and supporting each other. You don't have to have a business to attend! You can come and enjoy brainstorming ideas for others and hey, maybe you'll come up with a brilliant idea for yourself.
Maybe you have an idea about a community project that you'd like to start or need some advice on how to take up study and juggle life? Whatever you've got going on, that's what we share.
This is a kid friendly meet up so feel free to bring them along.
How does it work?
9:30am - arrive
9:45am - grab a hot drink and settle in with the group
10am - Introductions
We go around the circle introducing ourselves and our business (if we have one) and what specific task/project we're focusing on right now. We share what hurdles we're coming against or the gaps we have in our knowledge base.
The group then does a mini-brainstorm with you. Sharing their feedback, ideas, suggestions, resources, knowledge and contacts if they help.
12pm is the finish time but you're all welcome to hang out and carry on conversations.
The point of the roundtable discussion is to ultimately pitch your problem and receive help, advice, support and knowledge from the team.
Guidelines:
1. Hand out a business card if it's appropriate for the conversation you're having. Let's get to know each other first.
2. The roundtable discussion is designed for support. This is not a sales pitch moment.
3. Make sure you're sharing gold - what can you tell this person in front of you right now to help them in their business or life?
I'm looking forward to meeting fellow gold sharers and building a strong and supportive network of people who want to share their knowledge and expertise.
