Ceol Manawatu is a collective of musicians focused on performing and recording original compositions from the Manawatu region of New Zealand! ?Led by multi-instrumentalist Paul Turner, Ceol Manawatu have a strong Scottish/Celtic influence underpinning many of the pieces (‘ceol’ is the Gaelic word for music!) ☘️
This session has a regular core of musicians, featuring the harp, bodhran, pipes, fiddles, guitars and mandolins - adding to the tune repertoire with traditional songs and ballads!
