Ormskirk and District Family History Society (registered charity no. 1004895) invites you to join them for what we hope will be a varied evening, including a series of presentations and videos from members of the team of volunteers explain more about the evolution of the Society’s SpaceHive project, Sharing People’s History of West Lancashire, and tell the stories of some of the “lost buildings” that will feature in the first of our two planned history booklets.Why not come along to find out more about the treasures we’ve discovered in our library, and the fascinating details that have been revealed through our research.
All are welcome; refreshments will be available. Doors open from 7p.m. for a 7.30p.m. start.
Please note that, following ODFHS tradition, our AGM will be held at the start of the evening.
