Welcome to the May Marietta Housing Forum!
Join us at the First Presbyterian Church for an update on Emmanuel's Village-a 15-unit tiny home community providing transitional housing for homeless students/families in Marietta City Schools- and a conversation on "A Strong Towns Approach to a Better Marietta for Everyone", led by A Better Cobb.
Our featured speakers will be Molly Holm and Matt Stigall.
Molly Holm is the owner of Glory Haus and Founder of Emmanuel's Village. Molly is a native Texan and University of Texas graduate with a degree in Interior design. After college she moved to Marietta and has called it home ever since. She worked for Home Depot Expo the first 10 years of her career designing EXPO stores all across the country.
In 2008 she started her own faith based company, Glory Haus, which is a home decor and gift company here in Marietta, Ga.
She has 3 boys and 1 daughter who are all grown. She happily lives on acreage near Kennesaw Mountain with her two dogs Scooby and Durban.
Matt Stigall is a Community Marketing executive who has grown up in Cobb County and is a Founding Member of A Better Cobb, a diverse community that advocates for a more productive, sustainable, and resilient Cobb County for everyone. Serving as a Local Conversation for the national Strong Towns movement, A Better Cobb encourages attendance at local council meetings and hosts monthly social events and outreach initiatives. Please park in the "West Parking Lot" and walk across the bridge to the front entrance.
