May Half Term Sewing Club!!!Reduce, Re-use & Recycle!!!
Join us for our upcycle morning workshop.
In this session we will be turning an old shirt into an apron!!
This is a great way to understand the importance of trying to re-use and fix our clothing, helping to reduce the impact of throwaway fashion. Children also learn how a product is constructed during the reconstruction process.
This is a morning session from 10:30am - 12:30pm
Wednesday 29th May 2024
Basic skills required.
Please ensure in the booking information section you input your child's abilities, age, any interests, SEN or dislikes and your email for correspondance.
Sewing and textiles is a wonderful life skill and a great way to encourage hand- eye co- ordination alongside gross motor skills and improving dexterity.
It is of course great fun and beneficial to children's wellbeing!
This session will run at Fabric Corner in Lincoln.
All basic material provided, however, please do feel free to bring your shirts/trims to work from!
