Simply put, 100+ Women Who Care Mid-Island is a group of women who care about our communities and want to make an impact.
Four times a year, our members meet for one hour to learn about the great work being done by three local registered charities based in Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Lantzville, communities in between, and Gabriola Island. By secret ballot, we vote for one of the three charities, and the one with the most votes gets a $100 dollar cheque from each of our members.
To date, since June 2016 we have donated over $334,900 to local charities! The more members we have, the more of an impact we can make.
