About this Event

All aboard! Connecting, Land, Sea and Sky: monthly trips April to August on the Anacostia with Tykee from the DC Audubon Society who will help point out birds while Trey from Anacostia Riverkeeper discusses the cultural and natural history of the Anacostia River. The boat tour and bird tour are each approximately 1 hour long. There is a hard cap of 20 passengers total for the boat tour portion, as set by the United States Coast Guard.

Meet Tykee at 730am at the skating rink just across the parking lot from the boat ramp dock. It will be the tallest building you see. Bring shoes you can walk distances in as the first hour will be on foot. The second hour will be on the boat so bring at least one more layer of clothing than you think you'll need when you step out your door for the day, the river water is still in the low 50s and with a breeze, it will be much cooler on the boat than you might anticipate from the forecast.

All participants must sign this waiver, this will be how we check you in that morning. In addition to the waiver, please know that Anacostia Riverkeeper will be sharing your email with DC Audobon Society as our co-organizer. https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/e/GnJrgr6oaCzPmcHECGFrk4/
